Then, measure ruler length (should be 1) across the book page and mark with a pen or pencil. I attached mine to a pom pom garland and hung them up, but the possibilities are endless. Begin by tearing out a few pages from your book. Then it’s up to you what you want to do with the hearts after that. The paper strips become the inside of the heart “sandwich,” if that makes sense. Step 6: Press the paper strips into the second bead of hot glue. An important thing to remember is to hold the paper the correct way: hold it along the edges when you push-in the wide-edge of. Step 5: Add another bead of hot glue around the back side of the other heart. Step 4: Starting at the top indentation of the heart, press the paper strip into the bead of hot glue and go all the way around the heart. Run a bead of hot glue about a 1/4 inch from the edge all the way around the heart. Step 3: Glue the two paper strips together. Theyre also really easy to make, and you can do it with paper that comes from your recycling. For each heart you make, you’ll need two paper hearts and two paper strips. Origami hearts are a great way to show someone theyre loved. Step 2: Transfer the vinyl words to transfer tape, then stick them onto the paper hearts. Cut the hearts and paper strips out of cardstock, then cut the words from the vinyl.
