Then, measure ruler length (should be 1) across the book page and mark with a pen or pencil. I attached mine to a pom pom garland and hung them up, but the possibilities are endless. Begin by tearing out a few pages from your book. Then it’s up to you what you want to do with the hearts after that. The paper strips become the inside of the heart “sandwich,” if that makes sense. Step 6: Press the paper strips into the second bead of hot glue. An important thing to remember is to hold the paper the correct way: hold it along the edges when you push-in the wide-edge of.
